From January 2020 to December 2020, DSVRT received a total of 3193 reported cases. This accounts cumulatively for the 1718 reported cases involving children and 2584 reported cases involving adults.
From January 20th to December 2020, DSVRT recorded 2584 reported cases with 91% of reported cases for adults involved female survivors while 235 accounting for 9% of reported cases for adults involved male survivors. https:///2DRrOaeM6M
The result above shows that most of the reported cases for adults involved female survivors.
Adult Reported cases bothering on rape had 62 survivors, Attempt to Commit Rape & Threats 136 reported cases, Sexual Assault 150 cases, Domestic Violence 1887 cases and 349 other cases
The data below reveals that
most action taken/ referrals made for reported cases of Sexual and Domestic Violence were referrals to the police which accounts for 894 of the reported cases, followed by mediation which accounts for 659 of the reported cases,
followed by FSS/MYSD which accounts for 315 of the reported cases
and DSVRT Counseling/Psychologist which accounts for 273 of the reported cases.
Referrals were also made to notable organization both governmental and non-governmental; @MirabelCentreNG @PoliceNGLagos @wapalagos @opdlagos @LamojRight @WARIF_NG @hellolagosyfs to mention a few.
